    Not a massive sports bike fan but if I had to choose then it would have to be any of the MV Augusta range or a Ducati - not that I could afford the maintenance bills on them

    Either BMW RT1200 or 1600GT Then you can't forget the Pan European ST1300 Depends on riding preferences - for long distance I like upright position with good screen and luggage - either of the above hit the mark

    Me personally, I reckon the Suzuki Bandit 1200 is the best all-round bike in this category A brilliant bike all round but not the best at everything, but a very good commuter, thrash bike or tourer Incredibly reliable bike and no real know issues (except for maybe the gearbox which is a bit weak)
